I came across this post and thought "I can do that." So I went out and got fabric paint. I decided not to color the whole onesie. Here is how it turned out.

My First Baby Shower!

Some friends and I hosted a baby shower for another friend this past weekend. I'm really excited to share pictures because the Mother-to-be did not know any details about the shower. We got to plan everything. I am very pleased with how everything turned out.

Cake Table

Table center piece. We spray painted some branches and glued little paper birds on the banches.

Tables with games and favors already on them for when guests start to arrive.

Baby Shower gifts

I have 2 friends that are pregnant (they are due 6 days apart). One is having a girl and the other is having a boy. This is the first baby for both so I wanted to do something special but different for each of them.

For the friend having the girl I made a diaper cake. I used this tutorial as a guide because I like the idea of wrapping the diapers around paper towel tube instead of rolling each diaper individually. I really didn’t count how many diapers I used for each tier, I just added more until I liked that way it looked.

The cake topper is made out of baby socks. I just google “sock roses” to learn how to make them look like roses.

For the friend having a boy I made a diaper wreath. I followed this tutorial.

I really happy with the way they both turned out.

Valentine Cake Pops

I've seen these Cake Pops a lot lately and I thought they would be cute for a baby shower I have coming up in March. So I used Valentines Day as a practice run and made them for my daughters daycare teachers. I followed this recipe however I used yellow cake and vanilla icing.
